Pride Month

Sawley to fly the Pride Flag from Saturday, 8th June. The Vice Chair of the Parish Council, Cllr John Hey Heddle will hoist the flag on Saturday morning and it will remain for the duration of June, as it's the month where the community will show support for Pride - recognition for ongoing campaigns on equality and inclusivity.The decision that Sawley will once again fly the Pride Flag in June, was taken at our last meeting - the flag will be hoisted after the commemoration for D Day 80th Anniversary which takes place this coming Thursday.Cllr Alan Chewings
